FAQs
The Fed Pilot program is à la carte. This allows you to play to your strengths and save your money for the things you excel in.
We first and foremost focus on the registration and production of the workshop (in-person or webinar).
But, of course there are other needed activities, like the marketing to fill the event, the follow up calls to get them on the calendar, the report to help you explain their benefits.
You choose what you want help with. If you want to do it all yourself, we will just take on the registration and event production. If you want to be hands off and focus on meeting with employees, we have resources to allow you to focus on what you do best.
The workshops & webinars are anything but the typical, boring financial classes they are used to. They don’t look like a laptop presentation, but rather something that is created in the studio. Because of that, they are blown away by what they learn.
They are professionally produced, interactive, thought-provoking, and fun events. Most often, attendees will end the workshop more excited and energetic than when they came. Why? Because they finally have hope that they can retire. And they are excited to meet with you for the two free meetings.
During the meetings, federal employees are told the rules of their benefits. Their next question is, “How does that affect me personally?” For that, you will offer two free meetings to show them their numbers and answer any follow-up questions they may have.
On average, the workshops get 4.9 out of 5 stars from federal employees. Almost every workshop we deliver we hear, “This is the best workshop I have ever been to – by far.”
A few of the many comments:
- “I have been to a few of these in the past, in-person and virtual – Your has to be the BEST – Looking so forward to (meeting with the advisor). – Al, DOE
- “Thank you very much. This was incredibly informative, but most of all, it gave me a path to set out on.” -Robert, NASA
- “Informative and presented in an entertaining and engaging manner. I don’t normally say that about a 3hr presentation.” -David, RHS
- “Great course! I always figured the Gov wasn’t providing full disclosure on TSP strategies…now I know. I am forwarding your info to co-workers.” -William, BLM
- “I strongly urge (my coworkers) to attend.” -Kevin, DOI
- “Thank you so much for your time and knowledge on this subject. I didn’t realize what I did not realize and I am grateful to be able to get this under my control now and not wait until last minute. So many little details that can make a big difference.” -Trey, NRCS
Most answers about benefits are online and can be found at OPM.gov. We also have an online education program you can take which will teach you the basics of the complicated federal retirement benefits. There is also the Fed Pilot YouTube page which has many short, educational videos. The more complicated cases (for instance, involving military service) will need more personalized help. Over time you will be able to learn most all you will need to know with very little to no additional resources.
Fed Navigator also has resources you can turn to for the answers.
The Fed Pilot program is based on years of trial and error to hone in on what works best. Today, it is a machine that just works.
Federal employees know astonishingly little about their benefits. This program not only educates them in a way that opens their eyes in a way they have never seen before, but it also makes YOU the hero. Once they understand what they have been missing, they are excited and eager to learn what the rules mean to their retirement and how to use the rules to their benefit to create a better retirement.
That’s where you come in.
And it just works. Event after event after event…
