This page will walk you through how the program works and possible associated costs.

The Fed Pilot program is customized for you.

You choose what things you want to do yourself.  What you don’t want to do you can hire someone else to do for you.
It all depends on how you want to spend your time and how much money you are willing to spend for support services.

1) LEARN the fed benefits programs

Like all other programs, the government didn’t make the retirement programs simple to understand. They are complex and always changing.  So much so that HR can’t even keep up. 
You will need a good base understanding of the benefits.  

A knowledge of the benefits is a requirement. 

If you don’t know what you are talking about, federal employees will sniff that out in a moment and they will tell their coworkers. 
Here are some resources that will help you get up to speed and stay there.

FEDERAL RETIREMENT MASTERCLASS FOR FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS

This Masterclass will bring you up to speed so that when you are in front of a federal employee you will be able to speak their language and feel comfortable talking to them.  This online course has 7+ hours of video content plus documents, homework, and live support.

If you have not exclusively worked with federal employees for some time, this is most likely needed.

Stay up-to-date on federal benefits and the best business practices with an online community of other financial professionals who serve federal employees from across the nation. Get updates, best practices, ideas, business tips, and more. 

This is optional, but very strongly suggested for everyone, regardless of knowledge level.

Stay up-to-date on federal benefits and the best business practices with an online community of other financial professionals who serve federal employees from across the nation. Get updates, best practices, ideas, business tips, and more. 

This is optional, but very strongly suggested for everyone, regardless of knowledge level.

2) MARKET the event

Now that you know the basics, it’s time to market your first event. 
You have two choices.  
1) You can be responsible for filling the room. There are many ways to do this.  You can choose whatever way works for you: Social media ads, calling agency contacts, mailing flyers, using current employee contacts. Or, if you have a marketing program that works, this might be the best option for you.
 
2) We can fill the room for you.  Don’t worry about the marketing.  Rather, use your valuable time to do what you do best (meet with employees) while we take the marketing load off your shoulders and fill the workshop for you.

(Available in most, but not all geographical areas.)

EMPLOYEE LISTS

Purchase a list of federal employees.  This one-time cost can be used to market all of your workshops.  Our trusted business partner, Nigel at NCM Lists, will give you a quote and supply you with emails of federal employees.  Then use an email service to email invitations with a link to the registration page.

EMAIL TO FEDERAL EMPLOYEES

If you don’t want to bother with writing the email headlines and scripts and scheduling the emails, and then maximizing for open rates and CTRs, we can do that for you. Give us your purchased list and we will market to them.  This extra service is only charged per person who attends that came in through our marketing effots. If you decide to market in other ways at the same time, you won’t be charged for attendees who come in through your marketing efforts.

3) WORKSHOPS

This is the fun part.  We don’t present boring, glitchy workshops. We will deliver only professionally produced events that are engaging and look great and WOW the audience. Kevin Jones has developed and delivered trainings for 25+ years, has a masters in organizational learning, and is a professional speaker on stage. He has carefully created an experience federal employee rave about. The program earns 4.9+ out of 5 stars and the attendees are eager to meet with you after the workshop is over.
 
Each event includes: Registration website and form; email and text reminders for participants; a professionally trained presenter; the presentation; workbooks for attendees; a detailed report of who attended with their contact info and their feedback.

(Optional cost: Depending on your setup, you may want to upgrade your video & audio equipment to make yourself more professional.)

IN-PERSON

4) MEETINGS with employees

This is where you will shine.  During the workshop we tell them you will meet with some or all of them (your choice) for two meetings: no cost, no obligation, no sales pitch.

 
MEETING #1: You gather their information and get to know them.
MEETING #2: You deliver a personalized, comprehensive report on the benefits we covered in the workshop and answer any of their questions.
 
If that’s all they want, great. You are happy to get them going (and they tell their friends). And if they want more help, you are happy to provide that as well.
 
If you do it right, there is very little need to sell because they will see the gap, understand the need, and proactively ask for your recommendations.

GET A SPECIALIZED ASSISTANT

After the event, you will need to follow up with the attendees by email and/or phone to schedule appointments with you.  If this doesn’t sound appealing to you, you can use our trusted business partner, EVOLVD, to do it for you.  They will reach out to all the participants, set up meetings and deal with with cancellations and reschedules.

Cost Scenarios

If we put this altogether, how much does it all cost? 
 
Well, it depends on how much you want to do yourself.
 
Let’s take a look at a couple of scenarios.

(These are only examples. Your situation may be different.)

SCENARIO #1 – SEASONED DO IT YOURSELFER

You are looking to do as much as you can by yourself or you have a team to do it for you. You already know the benefit programs inside & out. In this case, the only cost will be the workshop.

So you decide to do an in-person event, do the marketing yourself, but have the reports created for you.
